Good Shepherd International Health Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2010 with a vision to provide accessible healthcare and mental health services to underserved communities around the world. The foundation was established by a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, mental health experts, and passionate advocates, all driven by the belief that every individual, regardless of their background or location, deserves quality care, support, and compassion. Our story began when Dr. Rose L. Delva, a committed medical professional recognized the growing need for health services in areas where healthcare was lacking. Motivated by her own experiences and the disparities she saw, Dr. Delva brought together a team of experts, including physicians, mental health professionals, and educators, to form an organization that would not only treat physical ailments but also offer essential mental health services. The founders of the organization recognized that true health goes beyond the absence of disease; it encompasses the complete well-being of the body, mind, and spirit. By integrating medical care, mental health services, and spiritual support, Good Shepherd International Health Foundation was established to provide health and healing.
